ASRC Awarded Engineering Contract to Support FAA’s NAS Systems
Reston, VA - April 7, 2026 - ASRC Federal Advanced Research (AFAR), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, has secured a competitive award to continue providing critical engineering support and technical expertise to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The Second Level Engineering Services (SLES) program will maintain navigation, power, communications, surveillance, automation, weather systems and infrastructure for the National Airspace System (NAS) under a potential five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
Peraton Selected as Prime Integrator for BNATCS
Chantilly, VA, - Decemebr 4, 2025 - The Federal Avaition Administration awarded Peraton the Prime Integrator contract for the Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS).
Backed by an initial $12.5 billion legislative funding allocation, the ambitious initiative aims to completely overhaul the U.S. national airspace infrastructure and replace aging analog technology by the end of 2028.
CGI Federal Delivers Phase One of NOTAMS - Early
WASHINGTON, D.C. - September 30, 2025 – U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has deployed the first phase of a brand-new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) service months ahead of schedule.
The NOTAM service, which provides critical safety alerts about changes in the airspace, was originally built in 1985. It has experienced multiple outages in recent years, including a 2023 nationwide failure under the last administration. This important deployment milestone was achieved on-time and on-budget after Secretary Duffy accelerated the modernization effort.
