Stephen Lloyd, Senior Safety Consultant with Aviation Management Associates (AMA) has over 40 years of experience in the aviation and aerospace industry. Since retiring from the FAA in 2015, he provides guidance on safety management systems, UAS operations , detect and avoid safety risk management and safety program development, to several industry clients including DOT VOLPE and the USAF Ground Based Detect and Avoid (GBDAA) team.
Doug has more than more than 50 years of experience in government and industry specializing in Air Traffic Operations and General Aviation Operations. During his 36-year career with FAA he was the Air Traffic Manager of many facilities including: Minneapolis St. Paul ATCT/TRACON, Detroit Metro ATCT/TRACON, Chicago TRACON and Indianapolis ARTCC. He was also the Manager of the System Management, Operations, Requirements, Evaluations, and Resource Management Branches.
Dr. Robert Lilley provides 40 years of domain knowledge and experience in navigation and position location systems, supporting government and industry clients. He led AMA’s analysis of eLoran for the FAA in addition to developing a variety of CNS technical briefings for senior FAA management.
A lifetime aviation enthusiast, Dave Rhodes is a former USAF pilot and has supported the FAA, NASA, NOAA, and DHS in both Government and private sector roles. Colonel (ret.) Rhodes, serving for 27 years in the Air Force, held various leadership positions including the DoD rep to the Joint Planning and Development Office (JPDO) crafting the NextGen vision as well as DoD liaison to the then nascent DHS for information integration.
Mike Ball has over 50 years experience in ATM operations, systems specification, solutions delivery, and strategic planning. He was a PM for several radar systems and worked in business development and capture management for FAA and international ATM efforts.
Ira Gershkoff has more than 25 years of experience with strategic and operational information systems in the airline industry. His proven track record analyzing complex business processes—together with experience as a line manager—has given special insight into the challenges of airline operations. He has done this through serving the carriers directly as well as applying his expertise to Air Traffic Management issues.
Chris Corgnati is a retired Navy Captain and business executive with extensive experience in both the federal and private sector. As a Commanding Officer, he led 400 Sailors conducting high temp military flight operations across the globe and oversaw the Navy’s $2.5B portfolio of ISR capabilities. As a COO, he led a startup unmanned aircraft manufacturing company and has consulted for a diverse set of both commercial and government clients.
40-year career working in the field of aviation and meteorology in a diverse number of assignments and positions within the Departments of Commerce, Defense, Transportation, and the private sector. Specialized experience in research, concept development, system acquisition, policy development, interagency and industry facilitation, operational forecasting supporting aviation customers, planning, budgeting, and execution of multi-year plans.
